Q: How do you celebrate being a woman and the power of being female?โจ
Being a woman is truly magnificent and wonderful. It is a precious gift from the universe that allows us to carry on this beautiful legacy. In my line of work as a model and sex therapist, being confident and assertive is essential. It is so empowering to acknowledge the profound connection between the physical body and mind, expressing your inner being through the reflection of your outward appearance, and vice versa.
For me, to be a woman is to be a chameleon, embracing sensitivity, strength, and vulnerability. It is a way of life, an attitude, with no rulesโthere are so many ways to embody femininity. These expressions evolve and grow with age, experiences, and moods, manifesting in our behaviours, the way we move, our style, and the versions of ourselves we present.

Iโm NXKXTA, a music artist and creative director based in London, England.
Q: How do you celebrate being a woman and the power of being female?โจ
As an independent music artist and creative director, I love combining strong visual elements with my music, diving deep into storytelling and human experience with my art. My main goal is to empower other women through my music, in solidarity, to make them feel less alone with our shared triumphs and struggles.
I think it can be tough to exist in this world as a woman, and more than ever, we as women need to mutually support one another, encourage and lift each other up. I think too often we have internalised perceptions to compete amongst ourselves, when in actuality, we can all shine brilliantly together.

Q: Can you tell us your name and occupation?โจ
Maya, chef, restaurateur and stylist. I love to cook, design and bring people together, and I am fortunate to collate these hobbies and passions into businesses with my restaurants (@neighbourhoodbali) and creative studio spaces. My biggest satisfaction comes from being able to impact someoneโs day with something as simple as a really good cup of coffee or meal.
Q: How do you celebrate being a woman and the power of being female?โจ
I celebrate the power of women by pursuing what I want without limiting my beliefs and achievements. Especially in my professional career of being a chef, where it's mainly a male-dominated industry, I have always believed that I am equally capable.
