Ask & Embla is a jewelry brand born from alternative subcultures shaped by punk, goth, body mod and music movements. We believe in adornments for the soul— that jewelry is more than accessory. It is an extension of identity, an ode to the self.

In Norse mythology, Ask & Embla represent 'Adam & Eve', the progenitors of humankind. They symbolise duality and becoming, forming the tenets of our brand ethos. Rooted in a contemporary gothic DNA, our creations are charged with the freedom of expression — designed to awaken and empower you to become your full self.

13 years deep in our craft, Ask & Embla has evolved from its subcultural origins into a global movement of redefining self-expression for a new era.

Our DNA

The Norse mythos are rich with narratives of duality and co-existence, embracing the quality of light and darkness, creation and destruction, and an equilibrium between 9 worlds in their cosmos.

Our visualisation of duality lies not in mere opposites, but in a divine balance. We regard the night not as the absence of day, but as a silhouette carved by the day's light. We see the masculine not as a counter to the feminine, but as a symbiotic complement. This vision of duality is fused into every piece we design.
